Reading is a necessary skill in every aspect of life. Students who are at risk of failing out of school when they are older can be predicted by the end of first grade. This can be due to a struggle with reading. Most kids don't respond well to the sit and get method. They need interactive lessons to help them learn and retain literacy skills. By donating to our project, you will be helping students take a hands on approach to learning the foundations of reading. This will be key in helping them build a strong skill set to grow as a reader. These activities will allow students to practice the skills that they are being taught in the classroom during center times. Repetition is vital for students to retain the skills they are learning. With these activities, they will love their practice time!
