Due to the pandemic, my students have never had any lessons on a carpet! Last year our poor carpets spent the entire year rolled up in a corner of our room collecting dirt and grime.  Help my class get a new carpet that we can take care of and show love!  Our current carpet is small and barely fits my sweet, quickly growing 6 and 7 year olds. The carpet in a classroom should feel like a comfortable, safe place to be able to speak freely which currently can't be done when students do not feel included because they don't have a spot to sit in. A new, upgraded carpet will allow space for all of my students on the carpet during whole group lessons, such as reading, read aloud, and morning meetings! This carpet will have a beautiful bold leaves print that will provide organized student seating which will bring consistency and allow students to feel safe in their own space! This will also meet COVID-19 protocols for students to spread out on the carpet.
