Within our PE department, we are exploring the expansion of our curriculum beyond that of simply physical health and well-being. We are working to incorporate opportunities for the students to learn basic skills for lifelong use, these would include but not be limited to basic cooking and baking, to promote both healthy and economical choices as well as the ability for students to have the knowledge of how to do this for themselves and their families. These supplies will help stock our kitchens, with the tools needed for use in hands-on preparation of nutritional and healthy snacks and meals for themselves and to share their newly found knowledge at home with their families.
