When student's are having a difficult time, it is my responsibility to help them process their emotions and feelings. Fidgets keep the body active, making room for students to better engage in communication. This helps us focus on Social Emotional Learning. SEL is the process of developing self awareness, self control and interpersonal skills that are important for success in the classroom and life. The fidget/sensory items help keep their hands busy and minds engaged. They are great for enhancing attention and focus. It helps keep the conversation flowing so we are taking care of our mental health.

About my class
