Its important for our students to gain interest in reading to advance to their next levels. My hopes with this project is to give my students opportunities to open a book with characters who look like them and have some of the same experiences. By funding this project you will help give my students a start to a full classroom library with books and adventures to choose from. These books will not only transform the library but also the desire to visit it. "Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary" and I want my students to rise.
