I am requesting headsets so they may listen to key pronunciations from their internet based software, and record their voices for proper enunciation as they acquire the English language. With the use of headsets, our students will gain access to acquiring the English Language with fewer barriers. When working in a classroom setting where all students are building on their own individual level, it gets quite challenging to "zone out" the noises around you to stay focused and on the task at hand. Students must listen to content with proper pronunciations then repeat with proper enunciation to support and push forward their learning gains. Many students cannot afford to purchase their own headsets to work at home, so they count on using the resources available to them at their schools. Students deserve every opportunity to succeed in all they do, so providing this resource will be one more tool in their toolbox of learning to meet their overall academic success.
