Our classroom blocks are 90 minutes. Even with brain breaks and transition time built into the lessons, some students still need to opportunity to get comfortable or fidget in the classroom. Giving the students in my class and the other students and teachers who share my room some seating flexibility will greatly improve the comfort level students feel in the room and will help them eliminate some of the distractions that get in the way of completing assignments. I have had several requests for these items from students who have been learning from home during the past year and a half and I would like to provide some flexible seating options and focus toys at school to help get them reacquainted with the classroom.
