This project will enable my student to be immersed in a print-rich environment for Social Studies. Students will have the capabilities to utilize the color printer to access images or create images that make connections to historical events. They will utilize these images in their presentations and in their interactive notebook about history. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card allows me to find creative and engaging Social Studies lesson from other teachers that have created engaging lessons. Lessons that are engaging include but are not limited to games, simulations, and fact-gather ideas that support their learning. The print-rich environment will also include the addition of content posters of historical individuals and events. We cover subjects from the Civil War to Civil Rights, and many of these posters enhance the print-rich environment for our students.
