My students are active engagers in their musicality. They get opportunities to sing, dance, and play the moment they walk into the music room. This set of tubanos will allow students to learn drumming first hand. These tubanos are easy to use, and will be available for all music students. Nearly 900 students across two schools will be able to to play the tubanos. They will start in Kindergarten, and then continue to build their learning every year. By the end of their elementary career, my students will have 6 years of enjoying these instruments. These instruments will also allow students to learn more about cultures from around the world. We will use the drums to learn more about this musical world we live in!
