The use of a document reader is a daily routine in every classroom. In my virtual classroom, I use it basically for everything. I use it to model how to solve problems, take notes, how to graph, draw shapes. I use it to read from the textbook, and when we use math manipulatives. There are endless uses for such an important technology. Now that everything is online, I rely heavily on a document reader to show my students how to do things, from how to balance an equation, to how to graph. Students love to bring their work up and have it display on the screen. They feel proud and important when everybody can see their work.
