My classroom is made up of English Language Learners from all over the world who are beginning to learn English. Many have recently moved to the United States. Not only will my students strive to meet the third grade Common Core Curriculum standards, they will become more proficient in English! My school is a part of a large urban public school district. More than 75% of the students at my school qualify for free or reduced lunch.
