I work with students from a variety of backgrounds with various disabilities. These sensory tools will be used during small group learning activities on Social Emotional Learning to help students self regulate their emotions. These tools are portable enough for students to take throughout the school building. Students can use the tools without disrupting the learning environment or leaving the learning environment. With the current pandemic, students will be returning to school in a couple weeks with increased emotions. These tools will help increase the learning time by allowing students to remain in class. Learning to self regulate emotions is an essential life skills for all student especially those with disabilities.
