Adaptive switch toys are a perfect way to allow my students to interact with technology, using minimal strength to press buttons. My students will use the switch to make a toy move, make a sound or flash its lights. These switches, powered by batteries, provide students with disabilities to be as independent as possible. They are eager to participate in activities, and switches provide them with the opportunity to be active participants. Motor activities are challenging for special needs students, and switch toys promote a range of motion, visual stimulation, and hand-eye coordination.

About my class
