I am at a very diverse high school in Lansing, Michigan. My students do not see themselves in the curriculum so our Black Student Union created a talent show to showcase our students. Students and staff watch our talented student body take the stage showing off many talents, including but not limited to singing, dancing, slam poetry, step shows, and dramatic readings. It is limited by technology. The students cannot do many things because we lack a computer good enough to edit and create videos. This project would open up the talent show to the next level! It would also reflect our students' abilities to produce and execute a top-notch talent show!
