The document camera will allow me to be able to show students who are learning from home what they are missing in the classroom. Many students may feel the impact of COVID-19 and have to be quarantined, which means they are missing in-person instruction. By being able to video call them and use the document camera, I can guide them on what they are missing. In the last few years, I have switched from traditional seating to flexible seating and the impact has been profound. Students learn more when they are given a comfortable and developmentally appropriate space to learn. I've also noticed a decrease in behavior problems as well as increased responsibility in students when they are allowed creative ways to work. These wobble stools are my next phase in creating a more student friendly environment.
