Because my students are in a lower socio-economic class, many don't get the nutrition or exercise needed to create lifelong healthy habits. My goal for this equipment is students realizing that exercise will make them feel better physically, emotionally, and socially. This will lead to exercise becoming an engrained part of their lives. They will gain more confidence as their health improves. I plan on creating an after-school program where students and teachers can come into a safe space and take part in a fun workout. I hope they will take what they learn from my program and use it for years to come.

About my class
