Per the Georgia Department of Education, it is required for young students to learn about color mixing and 3D sculpture. With the model magic, students can mix the primary colors into secondary colors giving them a hands on experience. Then, they can use the model magic to learn about texture, an important Element of Art that is hard to understand without exploring it themselves, and build a 3D sculpture that they can take home to their families to keep forever as a reminder of their early childhood educational years. This project can be conducted at home for virtual learners and gives the students hand strength training by kneading and rolling the medium.

About my class
