My students love to tinker. So wouldn't it be great for students to see other kids their own age tinkering and inventing through literature? I will use this book collection to enrich my classroom with contextual learning and hands-on activities. The books I have chosen include children of color, female scientists, and rich vocabulary. I plan to use this collection with Kindergarten and First-grade students that are as eager to learn as the characters in the books. These books will encourage curiosity and creativity and help my students become inventors.
