Our students need access to a variety of tools to be successful. Every item requested will play an essential role in allowing us to connect with our students and support their well-being. These items might be used as part of their play to express their feelings, as a tool to work on motor skills, as a way to help them learn to better understand their feelings, and regulate themselves. These are lessons that will allow them to engage with their peers and teachers in a healthy way, and most importantly, will enable them to engage in their academic learning. Our hope is that our time together with our students will create the solid foundation they need to be successful in school and become great in whatever they choose to do.
