My students will be given the opportunity to bring their learning to life with these supplies. Our school is Title I, and we lack resources and materials that are focused on African American History. I enjoy observing my students engage in history. Many of them have talents that enrich their learning experience, and they enjoy thinking "outside of the box" when explaining different concepts. These supplies will help encourage them to be imaginative while thinking critically. They will be motivated to visualize, organize and create illustrations that represent the rich culture of Africa.
