Children need food to have a fully functional brain to learn. My students rely on school breakfasts and lunches along with snacks I provide for their daily meals. Many of my students do not eat at home, while others even lack the home. Rewards of candy help motivate students and keep students wanting to achieve highly. Healthy snacks keep my students from having a growling stomach that detracts from their learning and keeps them aware and ready to learn. Many of my students come to school hungry and in need and I want to make their days and lives better. I also like to reward my students for their efforts and use candy as a way of motivating the most effort from my students.
