Our hopes are that the students in our school will get hands-on experience playing instruments and being a part of ensembles within their classroom. We feel that it is important that the students are able to learn music in a variety of ways, using a variety of instruments and supplies. What better way to teach the fundamentals of music, beat, and rhythm, than by providing our students with instruments. They will be able to explore the great repertoire of music from all across the globe. We also believe that the Orff process that was begun by composer Carl Orff and educator Gunild Keetman in the 1920s is so important! This process starts at imitation, goes on to exploration, improvisation and eventually, students can even begin to compose using this method. Above all else, we will always have fun in our classrooms while we continue to teach music and the love of music. Please help us to provide these items for our program and our students. We appreciate your support!
