My students come from many different communities. My goal is to have a classroom library filled with characters and events that reflect each student's individual experiences. I want my students to be able to see themselves as capable of being a success just like the characters in these books and the authors that wrote them. Students will be able to read these books while they are in my classroom during the school day, as well as be able to borrow my books to take home to be able to read in their own free time at home on their own and with their families.

About my class
