Science is all about exploration and having fun in the classroom. The activities will be introduced to make my students more engaged in the learning experience. Investigations require recording of data and sharing them in a creative way that can inspire them to pursue a career that is science related. Having some basic materials like file folders, markers, pencils, erasers, glue sticks and chart papers will be of great help for my students to have an organized file of worksheets and to create an interactive notebook. Most students regard science as a complicated subject and oftentimes find it difficult to retain information especially with the unfamiliar terms. Even with the presence of technology where students can easily get information or answers to questions they have about any topic, the traditional paper and pen activity is still proven effective to supplement learning especially when done in a creative way. Providing my students with the materials they need to get these things done anchored on some hands-on activities hopefully will help us achieve our goal of making science an attractive subject for students.
