With this technology, I can offer my students possibilities beyond the traditional classroom. I am asking for 3 iPads so that more of my students have the chance to use technology during centers. While I am working with small groups, students will use the iPads to enhance their learning. These opportunities range from working on their own individual math path to providing them a choice of learning activities. There are many technology-based programs that are geared towards math and science. All of these will strengthen their skills and encourage them to become life-long learners in math and science. This will benefit all students no matter what level they are currently at. iPads are simple for students to use independently and offer more choices when choosing applications. Students will be able to get the most out of their independent center time while using this device.
