Students having a more relaxing seating environment will help them feel more comfortable about sharing issues in their life. Students will be able to understand the strategies to learn the coping skills necessary to help them deal with the ongoing mental health crisis in today's society. The softer lighting for the classroom will provide a calming safe classroom experience that does not seem so clinical. Promoting social and emotional competency and build resilience within the classroom with help ensure a positive, safe school learning experience while teaching and reinforce positive behaviors and decision-making. Bounce back in to learning with a clear mental understanding as to why we feel the way we feel and how to overcome the anxiety by having soft comfort seating for my students.
