School resources are absolutely essential for student collaboration and research. I teach in a low-income, urban elementary school, close to 80 percent of the students receive free or reduced lunch. Our students needed a place where they could meet, use technology, collaborate, and create. In addition, the students need resources that helped them demonstrate independence and explore new interests as well as expand their thinking. These resources will also contribute to differentiated instruction and help meet the learning needs of all students. The more that students learn, the more they are able to contribute positively to society.

About my class
