We are building universal supports for our Newcomer students. The magnetic whiteboards will help with writing and manipulating magnetic letters. The clipboards will give us the freedom to work anywhere on campus. Flash cards will increase our student's vocabulary and oral language. This Tier 2 intervention work can best be accomplished with these materials that will be used for Foundational Language Lessons - Clear and Specific Language Objective, Increased Language Output, and Sight Word Review. We are building newcomers' foundational language. This is language that sits outside of academic language instruction but is necessary in the early stages of language proficiency. Thank you for helping our students.
