UADs are the future for our current learners. Students may have seen drones on TV or YouTube where the content is fun but not as educational. I want to show students how UADs (drones) are being used today in the workforce. I recently visited Dayton, OH where I explored how to get my students more prepared for the workforce of the future and the future is UADs. In the future, UADs will replace a lot of dangerous jobs and may even be used in combat. I would love to expose my students to this new thinking and use the UADs (Tello Drones) to start this conversation. I would not only show the students how to code using the drones but I would also introduce the science behind the drones, the history, as well as debate if combat with drones will be a UN topic in the coming years. I could, of course, complete these lessons without the use of drones but I know the learning would be much more meaningful with hands-on instruction.
