Students will use wobble stools, chair bands, and floor cushions to help burn off extra energy that they often have at the middle school level. The students in my class are new to middle school, so they are used to having recess time to burn off the energy. These seating options will allow students to fidget and move around in a way that is not distracting to other students or the teacher. Students will use the floor cushions and lap desks to help students collaborate and promote a classroom community. These supplies will help students have their physical needs met in order to encourage them to be the best version of themselves inside of the classroom. These items would allow students to become more responsible for their actions and growth in their learning.
