Students love reading non-fiction magazines with beautiful photographs. Time For Kids magazines are a great teaching tool! By putting these magazines in front of them, they can read and discuss current events. These magazines also have activities to assist with comprehension and fluency. One of the standards in 5th grade is learning about text features, which is exactly what scholastic News uses. My 5th graders have few books, magazines, or other reading material at home, so I would love to put this resource in their hands! Thank you for your support!
