By donating to this school project, you will be allowing students the opportunity to challenge themselves to engineer new ideas using building and construction materials they may never have been able to use before. This space will instill confidence in the students and empower these creative thinkers to go beyond what they have considered before. Makerspaces allow students to self-direct their learning and explore ideas and create prototypes while collaborating with others. These projects will engage students in the design process and provide an area to test their theories, foster creativity, and experience problem solving in a new way. The goal of this Makerspace is to supplement enrichment and instructional intervention resources for STEM, which is a new program focus in our building. By donating to this project, students will be able to use materials to explore science and math principles through engineering and technology resources .
