Flexible seating allows students to be more comfortable in their learning environment. These stools will be used as an option during small groups and independent work time. Making sure students are comfortable is an extra motivator to help them get excited to learn. With these wobble stools, the students will be able to get their wiggles out while also staying engaged in the lessons. Students are more engaged when given a comfortable spot to work and provided with choices. The second item in this project is to engage students in multiplication fluency. By using the smart pen and multiplication cards, students will be able to take control of their learning independently. Activities such as this helps motivate and keep students engaged in learning and memorizing their math facts. I cannot wait to see how much my students grow and engage in learning this year! We love third grade!
