The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door so we can have a terrific school year together! By donating to our project, you will not only help to ensure my students have new learning opportunities, you will also be helping to increase student attention and focus. Students having active, hands-on experiences ultimately helps to increase their academic achievement. The sensory table will have various materials throughout the year, based on our thematic units. We will be starting by having it filled with water. The Boomwhackers will be used not only to make music, but we will using them when during circle time as we learn about new vocabulary, tapping out syllables, and the spacing of words. The AlphaTales books will be used to teach each letter and phonemic awareness.
