Helping build foundational reading skills for young kids can be a tricky task, keeping them focused is the #1 challenge. Having tools and resources such as fun pointers, phones and challenges with timers can engage and encourage students to progress. Laser pointers will be used to help keep kids following along in a fun way. Whisper phones will allow them to hear their own success and growth as well as help recognize mistakes. Timers help challenge students to increase words per minute but will also be used for fun reading challenges with their peers.
