Did you know that many kinds who aren't regulated or are not getting their sensory needs met can struggle to access their language abilities? It's true. I've been slowing adding sensory based items into my Sensory Locker the last few years (flexible seating, movement activities, sensory bins, sensory toys) and this year I want to make more additions to help my students even more!! I want to add cozy soft seats, touch lights, sensory spot disks, fidget spinner ball, liquid floor tiles, reversible sequin pillows. When you have a safe, cozy, and comfy place to let your brain take a break it gives you the energy to do amazing things!
