Students will have another option for flexible seating in my classroom. I love giving students the option to move around the room during silent reading time. I find that when students are able to move around the classroom and find a comfortable seat they can focus on reading much better. I think as an educator it is important to have a wide range of read aloud books, where students are able to see themselves and relate to the characters. I would love to be able to provide my students with a community circle carpet where we can talk about our Social Emotional Learning skills for the week and have classroom discussions.
