The diversity library will give my students a chance to see the world through multiple lenses. They will grow to love characters, hate some characters, and feel like they have lost a friend when a good novel ends. It is my hope that students will see themselves in the books that they read in my classroom. I want them FEEL something when they read a book from the collection. I can't wait to have students line up to share what they have read. I want them to find a voice to borrow until they can find their own.
