Creating a safe and welcoming classroom environment is essential to student success. In a special education environment, students have a wide range of needs that I aim to meet in order to support their growth and development both as learners and as people. The materials I'm requesting will help students to feel calm and safe in the classroom. Many of the items support student sensory needs, as well as opportunities/spaces to feel organized and to practice self regulation. My goal is for students to enjoy being in our shared space and feel like they have what they need to be successful.
