These materials will help life science come alive for my students! Hands-on activities engage students and help them make connections with the content presented in the curriculum. Students will learn about both plants and animals this school year and although the students will dissect flowers, I would love to give them the opportunity to dissect other organisms. Working with dissection tools will increase the knowledge and skills my students need for high school biology courses. Preparing them for advanced studies and providing interactive experiences may just inspire some of them to become future biomedical engineers, biochemists, biotechnologists, or microbiologists! Having this dissecting equipment will enhance the learning experiences of my students for years to come.
