These learning toys are going to MAKE THEIR DAY! My little learners are awesome kids. They are 5 and 6 years old. These materials help them to become problem solvers. They promote team work and often are where friendships grow. I am eager to put more STEAM toys in my classroom. These "toys" should be considered "tools". A carpenter needs a hammer and young children need to play and manipulate toys that expand their minds and spark a love of learning. A quality early childhood/ kindergarten program should be rich in such materials. These toys bring joy and develop friendships. These are materials that encourage cooperation and communication. The children are improving cognitive skills, while meeting their social-emotional needs too! Please help me put these tools in their hands!
