These sensory toys will help my dynamic students with autism relax, focus, and calm down during our busy school day. It helps them grasp objects with decreased dear and discomfort, ultimately helping them play naturally. These sensory toys will also help them to develop social learning skills like negotiating, planning, and sharing. With these different manipulatives, my students will be able to stay engaged and help stimulate their brain. Some of these specific sensory toys will also help develop their gross motor skills such as picking large and small objects and understanding rules and activities. Using sensory supplies also help to stimulate their five senses; sight, touch, smell, hearing, and taste.
