These writing boards with be used in our classroom only. I plan to use them instead of the dry erase boards we normally use. For example, I will have my kindergarten students use the Boogie Boards to practice writing letters, numbers, and shapes, both in group stations and in whole-group settings. One activity my students enjoy is "Pop-up," where I call out a letter, number, shape, or a simple word, and as soon as they write it, they jump up and hold their work up high. Another fun way to use the writing boards will be having students work in pairs to practice drawing rhyming pictures.
