I have curated a book list that includes a variety of titles from authors that understand that representation matters. Moreover, many of the books on my list teach important character values, such as empathy. For many of my students, this is not only their first formal schooling experience, but also their first time learning in English. I want to help my kindergartners fall in love with reading, and plan to do so by creating a magical classroom library that is not only visually appealing and organized, but is filled with great books!
