I have been working on my classroom all year. The one section of our classroom that I have been wanting to work on the most is our calming center. I have taught many different strategies to help them take breaks and calm down when they are feeling emotional. However, finding a seat that is intriguing and comfortable for them is tough with a limited budget. This fun castle is somewhat enclosed but will still allow me to see the children. It will help make them feel safe to practice these strategies. The calming ball is also a great tool that they will benefit from as they relax. I want to make this place comforting and intriguing for them and with these two additions, I believe it will tie everything together and do just that.
