Can you imagine a class with no LCD projector and 20 students watching a laptop computer on a podium where the broken projector once sat? This is how my students have been viewing unique art projects and educational instruction since the beginning of the school year. Through narrowed eyes, these students watch, engage and view images through a cameras sized lens. In order to avoid any future vision problems, let's help students travel the world on the big screen. With visual arts, it is always better when students can see examples of what they've learned and how others have used the elements and principles of art to guide them. This may be done through virtual tours in other cities and countries, or through classroom group instruction that helps students lead students through the learning process. In addition, students will get an opportunity to use my requested projector, photography books, digital cameras, printer and classroom computers to show their artist perspective of their worls. Receiving this technology will help students view and critique their own work and learn to manipulate photography to create a yearbook to record their high school years, create photo collages and even do t- shirt/mask designs. Help me make this class more interactive and ready for action in art.
