The curriculum we are using is online based and everything students need is on their devices. However; I want to bring a WOW factor into the classroom. Giving my students the opportunity to have a printed Science World magazine in their hand with 20+ pages of cool graphics and attention-grabbing articles will help foster their interest in Science. I have had a classroom subscription to this magazine for 13 years and it is always a well received day when the new stack gets unwrapped. Even students that aren't typically into a magazine can't help but page through - the gross page is a fan favorite! My reluctant Science learners always find something they like - be it a short blurb in the Science News section or an article that hypothesizes and shares data from an experiment to prove if their pets are right or left handed. Science World never fails to disappoint!
