With the equipment being requested, our student-athletes will have access to become better players of the game. Students who experience success in the field of play will be more confident to take on the classroom as well. Our students take on rigorous course work in the classroom and have limited resources on the playing field. Our Baseball and Softball teams have advanced to playoffs and also won a district title. Our current baseball and softball team have no official field to practice on yet they find an area of grass to make practice happen. Our equipment is basic and many bring in their own to make sure we have what we need. With this purchase, I believe our student athletes will feel more confident in making themselves better.
