Our students have been online for so long... we need to encourage them to get back to books, and these magazines are a wonderful way to encourage students to step away from their devices and read printed text! The magazines are theirs take home and build a magazine reference library! These magazines are fun and engaging for students! The topics are current and are of high interest. These magazines will help engage my students, of all reading levels, in current events, math with real-world problems, and science. Scholastic includes extras such as videos, a digital version, and lessons plans for me to teach and model the rich variety of skills these magazines offer. I want to add fun and high-interest materials to my class...my students deserve it!
