If our project is funded, the books will help to provide a variety of reading options for readers with different interests and reading levels. I will be implementing D.E.A.R. and hope students will find a new genre or author that makes them want to read outside of school. We will be working on finding books that are "just right" so the students can read independently. The books will also expose students to examples of print rich material that will help them practice the comprehension skills they will be practicing daily.
